Are you wearing the red trend already?

Until this fall, red was considered the colour for the ones who dare. A colour many of us would rather avoid wearing because so attention grabbing. Not anymore! The red trend is going strong this fall and we don’t need to stay away from it anymore! Actually, we need at least one red sweater in our wardrobe this winter! This is coming from someone who normally tends to stay away from bright colours.. So, how do we make sure this red trend is going to fit the rest of our wardrobe?

I am combining my Tommy Hilfiger red sweater with a leather skirt for a rock chick look but I am also going to style it with vintage denim and block heels. Any red sweater would look really cool with denim, just be careful you do not mix and match with other warm tones or too classic cuts.. Just keep it simple and casual! Also, if red doesn’t go with your skin tone or really you can’t bear it and makes you stay away from the mirror.. red ankle boots are a great choice too this season!

I literally can’t tell you how much I love red right now between all the fall/winter 2016 trends and micro trends this is one of my favourite. When it comes to trends, which are often temporary for the season, I try not to pack my wardrobe with too many items. I think one good one to rotate with different looks is the way to go: enough to feel fashion updated and enough to put it to rest when you’ve seen too much of it already.

This time I went wool head to toes..

Actually this is probably how we are going to remember this AW14, with a lot of knitwear!

Especially when I have to spend a twelve hour day around the city and the weather is freezing, I just say thanks to this season big trend!

You already saw me around swapping my scarf for my knit and now the knitwear goes all the way below the knee too.

[FASHION] ALEXANDER WANG X HM

The result of mixing sport, performance and style.

I was flattered to be invited to the press presentation of the latest HM collaboration. Not only I knew it was a sure score by the Swedish fast-fashion enterprise (see here the full collection) but also this one really reflects my favourite street style #sportluxe #sportchic #streetwear.. and so she goes. We are talking workout clothes to mix up with our usual urban wardrobe.

The collection controls a city girl style in a mixture of sport and action for a day to night look. It screams coolness in every piece, woman and man, my favourites being the black foam-injected crocodile-patterned sweatshirt and the scuba one embossed with AW branding.

Least but not last the addition of lifestyle objects .. who wouldn’t like to own a pair of actual size boxing gloves hanging on their wall?

Nail some shopping to be done on November the 6th, until then let’s save some penny. This time the price point goes up for a totally worth it performance.. my gym is outdoor!
