EVERYTHING ABOUT MY SUMMER HOLIDAYS IN ITALY

Having said about a billion times how much I love summer, you can only imagine the joy of taking Emma for a month to Italy to the places where I grew up! It’s my favourite time of the year and I love that Ravenna offers so many different beach clubs and places to hang out just a quick car ride away from each other. From the ones we prefer to go only for dinner or aperitivo, to the more relaxed ones where we’ve been spending our days to nights.

If you are following me on Instagram (@nickyinsideout) and snap chat (username: nickyinsideout) you have seen my day to day life already.. but this time I wanted to take the chance of also showing you my favourite places (in case you will want to head there on holiday some day) along with what I’ve been wearing..

Because, as a blogger, a holiday is never a real holiday (I mean no phone, no emails.. not happening!) I needed extra protection for my beloved iPhone to survive its 24/7 shift and I opted for 2 different phone cases from OtterBox this time!

Il Baretto – Marina Romea (Ravenna). A drink on the sand, with good music under the sky. We like to come here to spend some good time with friends where the atmosphere is really chilled out and you don’t need a change of clothes after a day at the beach.

 

 

 

 

 

Cala Celeste – Lido Adriano (Ravenna).  Cutest location to spend another day at the beach which can end into a more intimate dinner by the sea. The restaurant offers a more original and sophisticated menu. The location is amazing and having dinner few meters away from the seaside is priceless.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Sol y Mar – Riccione. It’s a small cozy restaurant on the beach. Great ambience and adorable atmosphere, original menu and on-the-beach seating. Was highly recommended by a good friend and the one hour drive from Ravenna was well worth it.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Singita – Marina di Ravenna. My 6pm aperitivo on the beach it’s been a must of this holiday. The fun atmosphere, the tables replaced by blankets on the beach.. Feet on the sand, good music and delicious free appetisers.. The italian way!
