BLACK FRIDAY / CYBER WEEK DISCOUNT CODES

Black Friday deals are my favourite because we can still buy great pieces that can be worn all winter long and that most probably either would go back to full price or wouldn’t make it to the winter sales in December/January. This year the Cyber week deals are getting better and some have already started! The discounts below are already live NOW, I am sharing the best ones and the brands that I normally wear the most. I will be updating the list below every day until Cyber Monday along with my edit of the best pieces on each retailer website. So, make sure you watch this page several time a day for all the updates!

Moreover, head over to my INSTAGRAM for a giant CYBER WEEK Q&A + HAUL ON MY INSTA STORIES.

FARFETCH BLACK FRIDAY WISH LIST: I WANT THESE DESIGNER PIECES!

Black Friday is finally happening this week! When Farfetch approached me to share my wish list I was so thrilled since I was already browsing their website for the upcoming sales. I thought we were a match made in heaven!

Have you already done your Black Friday wish list? Keep on reading for my best budget designer items list on Farfetch.

Black Friday shopping means to me those designer items on my wish list finally marked down!

I did the mistake in the past to wait until the last minute for the sales. It just ended up in a disaster. By disaster I mean the shopping translated in overspending and wrong choices dictated by the rush and impulsive buying.

My number one tip on how to shop on Black Friday: make a list of the things you actually NEED and are currently missing in your wardrobe in order to not get carried away!

Furthermore, the best way to shop on Black Friday should be setting yourself a budget. Go for those staples you’ve had your eyes on during the season, which finally go down to a more affordable price point.

So, yes, staples and key pieces are my mantra during sales shopping! The main question I ask myself is: Can I take these pieces into next winter? The key word is shopping classics which will last and that most probably will be selling out before the actual sale season start.

All Farfetch items below are 10% off full price items with code BF10N

The offer is valid until Cyber Monday, 26th November. Brand exclusions apply. This offer is not valid on items marked as New Season and Permanent Collection.

FARFETCH CLASSIC COATS BELOW £300:

TIED UP TO THE PAPERBAG WAIST TREND

If you follow my Instagram you may have noticed this summer I am obsessing over the paperbag waist trend! After screening all the brands and online retailers I love, this summer I went back, yet again, to Opus. I’ve been so happy with their winter knits and jackets and this summer they’re serving my style again!

In case you don’t know what a paperbag waist is (although I am sure you know) it looks like a ruffled waist, creating a bottom volume on shorts, pants or skirts. This summer it became one of my staples to interchange from denim, during my easy days spent in the new garden but also love dressing it up with a blazer when I have appointments in the city.

Both of these two outfits, I created in collaboration with Opus, are so comfortable! At the same time they look stylish, chic and I am sure you can spot the high quality materials. It’s a good alternative to jeans, adding the right twist and giving a special touch.

Two elements I always look in my outfits are comfort and strong details. The paperbag waist can give you a very basic look but if you style it up, at the same time you don’t need much to make the whole outfit look chic. I never combine a paperbag waist with dramatic tops or the whole outfit would look too busy. Instead, the best is to balance it with a simple, plain top tucked in.

You will see me wearing these pieces on high rotation this summer!

IS THE STRAW BAG TREND MAKING US FORGET OF DESIGNER?

Hello girls! We are back blogging and you can expect loads of shopping posts coming to this space again! Since the beginning of the new year we neglected the blog a bit to start my new youtube channel. We needed this period to fully dedicate to a new channel but I admit I started to miss blogging! Now we created a dozen on videos and we know what kind of content works for us, so we are ready to be back here too! If you haven’t visited my new youtube channel yet, look for Nicole Ballardini or click here, we have new videos coming every Sunday evening. But now, let’s talk straw bags!

straw bag - basket bag -

If you ask me what is the key for my “summer ready” outfit I would definitely say a straw bag! So, the answer is yes!!

My collection varies between straw bags, baskets and even beaded totes.. I just can’t stop adding on it! Circular, square or bucket shape doesn’t make exceptions. There are so many to choose from that the urge of owning all the straw bag shapes is just too appealing! Big advantage? They come with a little price point.. so, for once, a handbag addiction doesn’t break the bank!

We saw this trend already last spring/summer and I am happy that is still blooming strong this year. Forget a straw bag just for beach vacations or pic-nic in the park – it’s literally the most versatile type of bag I own and it’s a trend that’s definitely becoming a wardrobe staple for summer.

The fun part of shopping a straw bag is the countless versions you can find available. Starting from just 20€ you can find one which looks designer! Depending on what I pair mine with, it takes me from meetings to the beach and again to summer evenings out.

You can really keep up with all the ones trending while staying on budget at the same time!

I am more one for the understated styles, but this doesn’t mean I won’t fall for a pompom or a tassel detail this summer 😉 Which one are your favourites?? It’s so hard to just pick one!!

{SHOPPING} LAYERING JEWELLERY AS A PERSONAL STATEMENT

I am so passionate about layering jewellery. Especially gold. Even better at the moment if the design has a vintage touch!

Lately I am receiving many questions on my Instagram about my jewellery and where is it from, so I thought I will go through it in this week shopping post.

All my jewellery (yes it does take quite some time to put it on in the morning and take it off at night.. ah!) became my every day statement and I cannot imagine leaving the house without wearing my favorite pieces. I find it such a great way to add a final touch to every outfit. I have my favorite pieces that I wear every day but I also love to play with different ones, always adding some extra sparkle to my looks.

Moreover, layering jewellery is a trend that anyone on any budget can dig into, whether you can afford designer pieces or can only stretch into high street purchases. In the latest case, just always remember to take off all your pieces before you shower or swim etc.. so you can make them last longer!

If layering jewellery is done your right, even the most casual look of jeans, white t-shirt and chunky knit can look so cool, trust me! I feel good when I style my every day look casually, adding that chic details with all my blings. That is what makes my outfits always statement, even when I wear the most casual items in my closet.

My jewellery is always gold, or gold coloured and I never combine it by sets, too boring. Instead, I mix different styles and lengths and combinatios of earrings, rings , bracelets and necklaces. One of the few occasions where ‘more is more’! 😉

I’ve listed below all the jewellery I wear the most and some similar styles to create the same look. What’s your favourite ones??
